Bumb news: Win a copy of Shade 10 Standard

Here's a quick reminder to enter 3D World's prize draw for the chance to win one of ten copies of the brand new Shade 10, each worth $249. The competition closes on 2 March 2010. Remarkably, the 3D modelling, rendering and animation suite Shade is now more than 20 years old. To celebrate, we’ve teamed up with publishers Mirye Software to give away ten copies of the brand new version, Shade 10, worth $249 each. Originally developed in Japan and now also widely available to a western audience, Shade features everything you could want from a 3D package. As well as robust modelling tools, there are a plethora of more specialist utilities available. For example, the dedicated Hair Salon enables you to grow, style and colour hair, while the particle physics system makes the creation of smoke, fire and explosions simple. As you’d expect, there are also powerful material and texture options, now including parallax bump mapping and real-time surface preview. To find out more about Shade, head to mirye.net
